Our Story of Hope

Each month, we highlight a client who found hope at our center while grieving the death of a loved one. This month, you are our Story of Hope!

You are the engine that keeps our center running. You are the beautiful donors who make it possible for our doors to stay open. You are the reason our center has reached hundreds of preschoolers, children, teens, and adults over the past 15 years. You have no idea the impact you make each day as we talk with new clients, facilitate eleven online adult support groups, and help our children and teens understand they are not alone in their grief.

You offered hope to over thirty new clients just last month, and the phone calls and emails keep coming. You don’t know it, but you helped two families who lost a child to suicide. You encouraged two families who lost their children to homicide. You supported several who lost their life partners. You listened to the story of a son who gave his life to save the life of a child. You empathized with others who slowly lost their loved ones to dementia. As we talked with them, you were there just as surely as we were.

You are so humbled that you went above and beyond our $40,000 North Texas Giving Day goal. We are grateful for your generosity and support. Most of all, we are indebted to you for the honor and privilege of continuing our work with preschoolers through senior adults who are grieving the deaths of their loved ones.

We offer hope because of you. You are the wind beneath our wings. You, dear friends, are our Story of Hope. Thank you
